I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 12 years in the Chicago public school system.  I received my B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1992 and a Master's in Elementary Education from Chicago State University. I am certified in Special Education, English as a Second Language, and Bi-lingual Education.
