Description of the District and FOIA Posting Instructions

Lisle Community Unit School District 202 is a public school serving approximately 1,500 students in grades kindergarten through high school residing in the Village of Lisle.


The District’s Mission is to promote excellence in the Lisle Community Unit School District #202 Schools by providing a challenging, comprehensive, and viable educational program for all students, that will lead to the attainment of knowledge, competencies and skills, which, upon completion, will enable our students to be successful life-long learners, and productive members of society.


This Administrative Service Center serves the four attendance centers in the District, the names and locations of which are as follows:


Tate Woods Elementary School (Grades 1-2)

 Schiesher Elementary School (Grades K, 3-5)

Lisle, Illinois

Junior High School (Grades 6-8)

The Total Budgeted Expenditures, for all funds of the District, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010 is $28,900,000.


The District employs approximately 250 full and part time employees.

The Board of Education is comprised of the following seven members: Pam Ahlmann, President, Janna Sampson, Vice President, Kari Altpeter, Secretary, Joan Costin, Amy Narot, Pat Sarb, and Bob Tarasewicz.

The District may require a fee for producing copies of requested documents at a rate of $.15. per page copied, in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/6).
