Lisle Math Team Repeats as Interstate Eight Conference Champions!!!

The 2010 Lisle Math Team won the annual Interstate Eight Math Competition on Wednesday night at Manteno High School. Twenty-nine mathletes in grades 9-12 competed in events ranging from Linear Equations for freshman to Partial Fractions for seniors. The events consisted of both individual and small group written tests. The team took first or second place in nearly all of the 11 events. Overall, Lisle finished in first place with 501 total points, Reed Custer in second place with 460 points, and Coal City in third place with 433 total points. The Lisle Mathletes hope to continue their good fortune when they compete at the regional competition on Saturday February 20th at North Central College.
