JOIN AFS!!
You can still join AFS! AFS is a multicultural club looking for world peace, one friendship at a time. We have fun activities throughout the year.
Forms to join are in Ms. Patrick's room (117). The $7 joining fee offsets the price of our activities, as well as covers costs for our two exchange students from Hungary and Italy.
Our first activity this year is a dinner at Greek Islands in Lombard at 5pm on Wednesday, September 29. We get a special price of $15 per person. This includes saganaki (flaming cheese), traditional Greek soup, meatballs, roast chicken and potatoes and meatballs. Dessert is a scoop of ice cream for everyone!
Our second big activity is AFS weekend where we will invite area exchange students to Lisle for the weekend. This will be the last weekend in October. Activities will include a Halloween party and a trip to downtown Chicago. We are looking for host families for the weekend. It's a great way to meet someone from another country and have lots of affordable fun.
