Photography Students Create Posters

Thank you to Mr. Matt Sullivan for encouraging his Photography students to participate in a poster contest. The contest asked students in photography to create poster depicting the results from the IYS survey taken last year.
There were 9 categories students could choose from. Listed next two the category were the poster winners voted on by the GPS’N team. Winners received gift cards and/or coupons to local restaurants.
Categories
- 66.4% of students are in sports Kelsey Kanthack
- 93% of students feel safe at school Lauren Thibert
- 90% of students who feel helping others is satisfying Kelly Husch
- 76% of students feel they have an adult (other than a parent) to talk to about their life
- 78% of students think smoking marijuana is NOT cool Molly Kate Anderson
- 82.5% of students think drinking alcohol is NOT cool
- 18% of students had perfect attendance for 1st quarter
- 69% of students are on the honor roll or high honor roll for 1st quarter Lauren Thibert
- 69% of students had NO referrals for 1st quarter
These posters will be made into posters to be hung around the school.
