Technology is imbedded in our world and all we do. So we all need to know how to utilize technology or it is of no use to us. Therefore, in technology class students will become technologically literate through the use of and interaction with a variety of technologies. To meet this goal, technology education students will:
Apply strategies of critical thinking in order to effectively identify and solve technical problems.
Analyze and assess the impacts, positive and negative, that technology has on our society.
Develop an awareness and knowledge of the technologies that impact their daily lives.
Utilize content-specific tools, researching skills, and mathematic strategies to answer technological questions.
