  Lisle Junior High School LRC Staff

 

Mr. Richard M. Marx begins his ninth year as LRC Director after teaching fourth and fifth grade for twenty-four years.  He has taught in District 202 for twenty-nine years.  His recent resignation as boys assistant varsity basketball coach at Lisle Sr. High School ended twenty-six years of coaching.  Mr. Marx organizes the district summer paint crew that includes other staff members and former Lisle grads.  After graduating from Elmhurst College Mr. Marx began his teaching career in Bellwood District 88 where he taught fifth grade for three years with.....Mrs. Marino.  His wife, Debbie, is a reading aide in the Wheaton school district.  Mr. Marx's son, Kyle and daughter-in-law, Natasha, live in Palatine.  His daughter, Courtney is a senior at Illinois State University.

Mrs. Diana Marino begins her seventh year in Lisle and third as full-time LRC Assistant.  Mrs. Marino is an avid Sox fan and dog lover.  Her husband, Mr. Marino, is a language arts / p.e. teacher at Lisle Junior High.  The Marinos have a boxer, Butch, and a "miniature" (fifty pound) English bulldog, Muggs.

Ms. Lorie Ferguson is in her ninth year as District Technology Coordinator.  Ms. Ferguson is the district technology wizard.  She enjoys walking and has recently added a salt water aquarium to her hobbies.  Ms. Ferguson also enjoys traveling the country and touring historic lighthouses.

Andrew Sergeant was born in Chicago but raised in Kankakee, IL.  He graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a bachelor's degree in Digital Media Technology which as he claims is a fancy name for internet stuff.  He was substitute teacher for two years and is an avid video game player.  He will spend hours on a game he doesn't like just to give it an accurate review.  A great addition to the LJHS technology department, Mr. Sergeant begins his second year at LJHS where his office has been moved to the computer lab in Room 203.

Ms. Lisa Doyle is the District's Technology Clerical Aide. Although she handles all of the District's phone problems and the technology "Help" desk her responsibilities seem to grow by leaps and bounds on a daily basis.  Her son, Steven, is a junior at LSHS this year.  Ms. Doyle loves to shop!!
