Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University
Master of Education Degree in Reading from National-Louis University
Presently serving on the following Schiesher School committees:
District Professional Learning Community; K-5 Literacy Committee
Member International Reading Association
Ms. Kathleen McTighe has taught elementary school for over thirty years, and she has been lucky enough to have taught twenty-eight years in fourth grade in Lisle 202. She grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia with three older sisters and now has nine nephews and nieces and four grand nephews and nieces. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys reading, gardening, walking, theatre, birding, and traveling. She believes that every child has many talents that are waiting to be tapped and nurtured.
