Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio Wesleyan University
Master of Education Degree in Reading from National-Louis University

Member International Reading Association
Ms. Kathleen McTighe has taught elementary school for over thirty years, and she has been lucky enough to have taught twenty-nine years in fourth grade in Lisle 202. She grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia with three older sisters and now has nine nephews and nieces and five grand nephews and nieces. She loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys reading, gardening, walking, theatre, birding, and traveling. She believes that every child has many talents that are waiting to be tapped and nurtured.
