Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio

Master's Degree in Education from St. Xavier's University, Chicago, Illinois

56 hours of post graduate work

I retired from full time teaching in Lisle after 32 years in 2004. I then returned part-time as the Academically Talented/Project Challenge facilitator and teacher. I teach the Language Arts and math Academically Talented classes once a week. During this time I team teach with the teachers on higher order thinking skills and various other units. I also pull out the the top 2-5% of the Academically Talented students for a weekly class called Project Challenge. Here I give the qualified students opportunities to enrich the curriculum with projects and problem solving techniques. I also collaborate weekly with the teachers concerning students, curriculum, and issues that affect the Academically Talented program in Lisle.
