Elementary Reading Team

Meet the Lisle Community Unit School District 202 Elementary Reading Team…

Mrs. Nicole Nelson serves as the Title 1 Reading Specialist for third, fourth, and fifth grade at Schiesher.  Mrs. Nelson received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from North Central College, a Master’s Degree in Reading from Northern Illinois University, K-12 Reading Specialist Certification and a Master's Degree in Administration from North Central College.  Mrs. Nelson has thirteen years teaching experience in Lisle as both a classroom teacher and reading specialist.  Mrs. Nelson can be contacted at nnelson@lisle202.org.   

Mrs. Elizabeth Parker serves as the Title 1 Reading Specialist for first and second grade at Tate Woods.  Mrs. Parker received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University, a Master's Degree in Reading from Northern Illinois University, and Reading Specialist Certification in 2004.  Mrs. Parker has thirteen years teaching experience as a Reading Specialist.  Mrs. Parker can be contacted at eparker@lisle202.org.  

Mrs. Kim Rasner serves as a Reading Specialist for first grade students at Tate Woods.  Mrs. Rasner received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from NorthernIllinois University and a Master's Degree in Reading from Lewis University.  Mrs. Rasner is certified to teach Reading Recovery and has twenty-one years of teaching experience at Tate Woods as a Reading Specialist.  Mrs. Rasner can be contacted at krasner@lisle202.org.
