We are counting down to the end of First Grade by doing "ABC Countdown to the End of First Grade!" Read below to see what we will do each day!

A - Animal Day
B - Blue Buddy Reading Day
C - Caring Compliments
D - Dance Party
E - Extra Recess Day
F - Fruit Day - Bring your favorite fruit as a snack today and create a class graph
G - Green Game Day - Wear green and we will play extra literacy & math games
H - Hat Day - wear your favorite hat to school
I - Ice Pop Day - We will have an Ice Pop at school today
J - Jeans & Jokes Day - wear jeans today...we will also write/share jokes
K - Krazy Hair Day
L - Look and Listen today to earn an end of the day treat...a lollipop
M - Mismatched Movie Day - Wear thing that don't math, and we will watch a movie
N - Nap Day - Bring apillow/blanket for a comfy day of learning-no real naps :)
O - Orange Outside Day - Wear orange and we will read outside today
P - Put on your School Spiritwear today as we head to the Zoo
Q - Question Day - We will play 21 Questions
R - "Really Thinking Like a 2nd Grader" - we will talk about 2nd grade today
S - Silly Sock/Shoe Day - Wear your silliest socks and/or shoes
T - Thrilling our Summer Birthday Friends - We will celebrate our Summer Birthdays
U - Uniform Day - Wear your favorite sports/activity/club wear today
V - Video Day
W - We're all Winners Today - We will play some favorite games today
X - X-Change Autographs
Y - Year End Clean Out - We will clean out whatever we still have at school
Z - Zoom out of school

My Background
I attended North Central College in Naperville where I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Leadership, Ethics, & Values.
I am currently working on my Masters Degree from Concordia University.
