Meet the Board

Pam Ahlmann
Appointed to the Board in November 2004 and subsequently elected in 2005, 2009, 2013, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2025. Ms. Ahlmann and her husband have three children, all of whom attended Lisle 202 school from K-12 and graduated from Lisle High School. Ms. Ahlmann received her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in Sociology and Psychology and spent her career at the Social Security Administration. She served as Board President from 2007-2017, and again from 2022 to present. She continues to serve on the the Intergovernmental Council and the Lisle Education Foundation Board, along with being an active volunteer in the community.

Daniel Helderle
Appointed to the Board in October, 2017 and subsequently elected in 2019 and 2023, Mr. Helderle and his wife are Lisle natives and have two children, both of whom are current students in Lisle 202. Mr. Helderle is the lead software architect for SMartX Advisory Solutions, Inc. and is a certified project manager from the Project Management Institute. Mr. Helderle received his B.S. degree from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, majoring in computer science and minoring in business administration. He also previously served on the Vision 202 Facilitating Team.

Paula Di Domenico
Ms. Di Domenico was appointed to the Board in 2024 and elected in 2025. She and her husband have three children, with two currently attending Lisle 202 schools. Professionally, Ms. Di Domenico holds a Professional Educator License with endorsements in English, Reading Specialist, and Administration. She serves as the Department Chairperson for Student Supports and instructional coach in Leyden District 212 and is an adjunct instructor at Lewis University and Northern Illinois University. She received her B.S. in English from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, her M.S.Ed in Reading Literacy from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, and her Ed.D in Literacy and Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Illinois University.

Kate Foster
Ms. Foster was elected to the Board in 2023. She has lived in Lisle with her family since 2011. Her oldest is a graduate of Lisle High School and her youngest is currently enrolled at Lisle Junior High School. Ms. Foster has a B.S. in Nursing from Aurora University and a M.S. in Nursing Executive Leadership from Benedictine University. Her professional background includes clinical nursing, compliance, quality and project management and she currently holds an administrative position with a healthcare organization.

Greg Nagler
Mr. Nagler was elected to the Board in 2021 and 2025 and has lived in Lisle for more than 20 years. He and his wife, Kim, have two boys attending Lisle 202 schools. He has a Bachelor of Science in History from Northern Illinois University and is a veteran of the United States Army. He has been active in Scouting and is the former Vice President of the Lisle Band Parents Organization.

Heather Novosel
Ms. Novosel was elected to the Board in 2025. She and her husband have been residents of Lisle for seven years and have one child who currently attends Lisle 202 schools. Ms. Novosel received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from North Central College and began her career as a high school math teacher. She currently serves in an IT leadership position at a global manufacturing company and volunteers at the Center for Cybersecurity and Education.

Randee Sims
Ms. Sims was appointed to the Board in 2019 and 2022, and elected in 2023. She resides in Lisle with her husband Michael and 4 Children (Andrew, Ryan, Kaitlyn and Zachary). During her closer to 20 years living in Lisle, Ms. Sims has participated actively in our community by volunteering for the Lisle Band Parents Organization and Lisle Athletic Boosters, and serving as the Treasurer for the Pine Hill Homeowners Association. Prior to that she was a coach for the Lisle FIRST LEGO League team and served on the boards for Cub Scout Pack 108 & Boy Scout Troop 108. Her work history includes 25 years in accounting, 13 years as a business owner, 7 years in regulatory compliance, and 7 years as a Notary Public for the State of Illinois.
All of the Board Members have successfully completed the training requirements of School Code 105 ILCS 5/10-16a.
