NEW - Attendance Call System Updated

Lisle 202 is pleased to announce that we are implementing a new system to assist in communicating important information with you.

Beginning on Monday, February 26th, automated attendance calls will be sent to parents/guardians of students who are marked with an unexcused absence for the day. School offices will also continue to make personal contact to confirm absences. If you receive an automated call and have questions, please do not hesitate to call your student's school office.

Thank you for your support and patience as we implement this new system to better serve our parents and students.

A Message from Schiesher on Academically Talented (AT) Programming in Grade 3

There are two programs at Schiesher Elementary for high ability students in grades 3-5. The first program for these students is called Academically Talented (AT) and is an accelerated program in reading and math.  The second, Project Challenge, is an additional program for the AT student.  Students must qualify for either program based on standardized and local testing, classroom performance and learning behaviors. Assessment of qualifications is an ongoing process. Children are continually evaluated for possible inclusion in either program throughout the year. Parents are notified in the late spring regarding testing for these programs. If you have questions, please contact our Schiesher Academically Talented facilitator, Patty Hurt, at phurt@lisle202.org.
