SPOTLIGHT ON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT Lisle 202 strives to help our students develop both academically and social -emotionally. Take a look at some of the ways our students are growing. Students Learn Life Skills Through Learn more about the new K-5 Math Curriculum, Bridges In Mathematics POINTS OF PRIDE AUTHOR VISIT Eric Litwin, author of the children's book series "Pete the Cat", visited our elementary students to share his love for reading and special approach to motivating young readers through repetition, music, and FUN! Mr. Litwin also entertained families at the Tate Woods Reading Night! Thank you to Mr. Litwin , the LEHSO for making this event possible, and to all the families who joined us to celebrate reading! SPECIAL OLYMPIANS FINISH STRONG On Sunday October 22nd, five Lisle 202 Special Olympics Athletes competed and five Lisle Senior High Buddies participated in the Regional Floor Hockey Competition at Hersey High School in Arlington Heights. #ONECOMMUNITY IN ACTION One goal in Lisle 202 is to help our students recognize that Lisle is part of a larger community and we have opportunities to help others both near and far. Eye on the Environment Mrs. Neustadt's class is working to help the environment by collecting markers to recycle for the Crayola Color Cycle Program. Markers are still being collected. Learn more here! BOARD OF EDUCATION Board of Education Seat Filled Lisle Community School District 202 welcomes Daniel Helderle to the Board of Education. After careful consideration of interested and qualified candidates, the Board appointed Mr. Helderle to replace member Anne Blaeske who resigned at the end of last month. Learn more here.
