HSO Council
About the Home & School Organization
The Home School Organization (HSO) is made of four voluntary units. The HSO Council oversees the three school units including the elementary, the junior high and the high school boards. The council make-up includes the unit president and delegate. The delegates, in turn, report discussions of the council meetings back to each unit at their monthly meetings.
The council also has representation from the district with the superintendent and a member of the school board in attendance at each meeting to inform the council of any relevant information that pertains to the school district. Everyone is invited to attend these meetings and it’s a great way to stay informed with what is going on at each school.

Band Parents Organization
About the Band Parents Organization
The LBPO is a parent organization made up of all parents of Lisle Band students, 5th through 12th grade.
The LBPO is organized as an Illinois Non-Profit corporation with the purpose of promoting quality instrumental music education. The organization provides financial and volunteer assistance to Grade 5 through 12 band students and Flag Corps students. Parents help with uniform fitting and distribution, equipment movement, general assistance to the directors, and fund raising for items not provided by the music program’s school budget. We have recently purchased many instruments, including tubas and stands for the Schiesher band. Our instrument purchases are generally to provide unique, specialty, or very expensive instruments so that all bands can have the instrumentation and equipment they need to produce top quality performances.
In addition, the LBPO funds outside clinicians, soloists and composers to add to the program. Master Classes are held both during and outside of class, giving the students an expanded view and a different perspective on a variety of musical topics.
We also award Private Lesson and Music Camp scholarships to 5-8 students. All that is required is an application to the Band Director, most years we can provide scholarships to all that apply.
In short, we do whatever is required to improve the Instrumental Music Program of Lisle District 202. Please feel welcome to attend any and all LBPO business meetings, to get involved, and to encourage your students to enjoy and learn their instruments and KEEP ON PLAYING!
- Meets the first Monday of each month at 7pm at LHS
District Choir Boosters
About the District Choral Boosters
The Lisle Choral Parents Organization (LCPO) is an Illinois Non-Profit organization made up of parents of all choral students grades 4 - 12. Our purpose is to promote a quality and comprehensive choral music education. The organization provides financial and volunteer assistance to all choral students. Through fund raising, parents assist with uniform purchases, clinicians, and scholarships for private voice and/or piano lessons, summer vocal music camps, and general assistance to the directors. Also, the choir parents host a fall choral picnic/concert where families attend to get to know each other. In addition, the LCPO purchases items essential to the choral music program which may not be funded by the school budget such as recording equipment.
Our meetings are held at Lisle High School on the third Monday of the month, every other month, at 6:30 pm. All parents are invited and welcome to attend the LCPO business meetings and encourage your child to explore and enjoy their first instrument, their voice!

The Foundation provides resources beyond the normal operating budgets for educational programs and activities for students. Local businesses, individuals in the community and the school district working together can help to ensure a successful future for all students.
