Spring Break is just around the corner, but before Lisle 202 students head out for some well-deserved rest, our 5th graders took time to do something pretty special.
During the week of March 23rd, 5th grade student leaders visited 3rd and 4th grade classrooms to share tips and encouragement ahead of the upcoming IAR State testing sessions. The visit was a great reminder that some of the best advice comes from students who have been there before.
Students will be tested in both English Language Arts and Math. The 5th graders came prepared with strategies to help their younger peers feel confident and ready. Their top tips included getting a good night's rest before test days, reading each question fully before answering, and taking their time throughout each session.
The leaders didn't stop there. They also created encouraging posters to display around the school, giving students a daily reminder that they are prepared and capable.
