French Club Celebrates La Chandeleur with Crêpes!
LJHS students making crepes

On February 13th and 18th, our junior high French Club gathered to celebrate La Chandeleur, a French holiday traditionally associated with crêpe-making. Forty students joined in the festivities, learning about the cultural significance of the holiday while making and enjoying some delicious crêpes.

Students took turns flipping crêpes—a challenge said to bring good luck if done successfully! With toppings like chocolate chips, caramel, whipped cream, and strawberries.
