Congratulations to all our athletes who participated in our inaugural LJHS Cross Country season this fall. The season was a great success and we are #LionProud of our runners!

The boys team finished in 9th place overall in sectionals and was led by top-40 finishes from Mati I., who lowered his own boys school record to 12:57, and Charlie W., who followed closely in tow at 13:08.  Luke E. was 47th in 13:21, and Braylon C. was 52nd in 13:45.  Bequer Z., Carson T., and Evan R. also competed for the boys.

The girls also finished in 9th, a mere 5 points out of 6th place as a team.  Sammie P. finished in 25th with a PR of 14:26, and the Lady Lions had a tight pack of Cici W., Audrey M., and Rose H. to close out the scoring. Sadie S. and Calla H. also ran strong races.  

A HUGE congratulations to Jennifer D. who qualified for the IESA State Meet. She placed 13th in the sectional with a time of 13:38.
