• New Assistant Superintendent Approved - On January 27, 2025, the Board of Education approved the appointment of Mr. Jason Markey as the new Assistant Superintendent effective July 1, 2025. He will succeed Dr. Linda Kotalik, who is retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kotalik for her remarkable contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Learn more about Mr. Markey here.
• Lisle Junior High School Math Progress Update - The Lisle Junior High Team presented information about the progress and initiatives implemented to support higher math performance on the upcoming Illinois Assessment of Readiness.
• Student Cell Phone Policy - After a review of the current cell phone policies at our schools and further discussion, the Board of Education supported the Administration's recommendation to continue with the current approach to student cell phone usage.
