Lisle Elementary School had a blast celebrating National Children’s Dental Health Month with LAND OF SMILES, a fun and free dental health show from The National Theatre for Children. The assembly took place on February 18 in the LRC and was created especially for our PreK through first grade students.
During the performance, students met Captain Super Grin, Terri Tooth Fairy, Toothpick, and even Caz Cavity. Through lots of laughs and silly moments, students learned about brushing and flossing, which foods help or hurt their teeth, and why visiting the dentist is so important. There were plenty of smiles in the room, and each student went home with a dental health goodie bag to help keep those healthy habits going.
