Twenty-six Lisle High School Honors AP French and Honors 3 students participated in a full immersion workshop at Alliance Francaise thanks to the support of the Lisle Education Foundation. Students learned how to make Quiche Lorraine with crust from scratch, a salad with a real vinaigrette, and Peach Melba with homemade chocolate ganache and freshly whipped cream. They also toured the facilities including the preschool and library and learned about volunteer opportunities to speak French in Chicago. To wrap up the day, students watched an award-winning film called Le Havre about issues surrounding immigration in France. This was a wonderful way for our students to experience a variety of facets of French culture and experiences!
