LHS Students Go Global in Trip to France
Various landmarks in France with students who went on the trip

Over spring break, 39 Lisle High School French students and seven chaperones traded classrooms for cobblestone streets as they traveled across France on an unforgettable cultural adventure.

The group began their journey in Paris, where students saw iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, and explored many of the city’s historic neighborhoods. A visit to the Palace of Versailles and its never-ending gardens gave students a glimpse into the opulence of French royal history.

From there, the group headed south to Avignon, home of the impressive Palais des Papes, and explored the charming streets and Roman history of Arles. In Aix-en-Provence, students enjoyed the lively markets and cafés that make the region famous.

The trip continued along the beautiful French Riviera, with stops in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital, as well as Nice and Monaco, where students experienced stunning Mediterranean views and a taste of coastal culture.

Along the way, students practiced their French, sampled local foods, learned about art and history, and built lasting memories together. The trip offered an immersive experience that brought language and culture to life.
