Every year, our athletic conference, the Illinois Central Eight, sponsors many non-athletic events, so that more students can become involved in co-curricular activities.  Along with choir and band festivals, our conference also sponsors competitions for our Math Team, Scholastic Bowl teams and Art Workshops & Portfolio competitions.  

On Wednesday, October 18th, the 2023 IC8 Leadership Conference brought together eight of the highest quality leaders from each of our eight schools for a day of activities, learning, and getting to know each other.  Schools take turns hosting the event and, this year,  Streator was the host school.  Guest Speaker Ted Wiese led students through the day to teach and enhance their leadership skills.
