LHS Works to Support Linus Project
students making blankets together

The Lisle High School Student Ambassadors and members of the Class of 2026 teamed up this winter for a good cause...The Linus Project. The Linus Project provides handmade blankets to children who are seriously ill or in need in the United States. Since 1995, more than nine million blankets have been delivered to children across our country.

On February 15th of this year, our students worked together to make 23 blankets in only 30 minutes! Once they realized the impact this project will make on children fighting an illness or otherwise in need, more students volunteered by staying after school or working on a blanket at home. As a result of this team effort, we are happy to share that our students' work resulted in a 50 blanket donation to Project Linus!

Thank you to all the students and families who worked on blankets or donated supplies. We are #LionProud of our learning community!
