Our Student Council sponsored a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society based on their program “Light the Night”. Students donated dollars and coins at school and families donated to an online fundraising page. Thanks to the generosity of our learning community, the total amount of money raised was $1,558.63! At the end of the fundraiser, students and staff participated in a flashlight parade to “light the night” and celebrate our school’s fundraising efforts. Students had a great time lighting up the school with flashlights as they paraded through the school with the lights dimmed.
