Talk about a big day on the courts! Lisle High School students recently joined hundreds of students across the area to help set a Guinness World Records title for the largest simultaneous pickleball lesson. How cool is that?!
The event, organized by KidsMatter and led by a coach from Sure Shot Pickleball, brought together schools from across the region for one shared goal: paddles up and ready to play!
During the 30-minute live lesson, students learned pickleball basics like serving, rallying, and footwork all at the same time as hundreds of other participants. When the final count came in, 446 players had taken part, officially earning a spot in the record books with Guinness World Records.
Even better? It was full of energy, teamwork, and a lot of smiles. We’re so proud of our Lions for jumping in, trying something new, and being part of such a fun, record-breaking moment!
