Our LJHS Symphonic Band had a wonderful performance at the IGSMA Band Contest on Saturday, March 11. They were one of just five schools all day to earn a Division One rating. In addition to their fine performance, they were exemplary students and they represented our school with pride. 

We have such a great group of talented and hard-working musicians in our school. Our 8th graders (who had to spend a significant amount of their early years learning their instruments virtually under the inspired leadership of Phillip Meyer) have been great leaders and have helped build a culture that the younger students have started to emulate.
