• Lisle Elementary School Intervention Room Construction Contracts - The Board approved the construction of two new intervention rooms at Lisle Elementary School to accommodate increasing enrollment and the addition of the new self-contained special education program. Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, the current intervention room on the first floor will house the Accelerated Learning Program (projected enrollment of 10-15 students) and the current intervention room on the second floor will house the new self-contained special education program for the 3rd through 5th-grade students (projected enrollment of 5 students). The proposed contracts of $235,717 will allow the District to build the two new intervention rooms on the second floor.

• 2024-2025 School Meal Prices - The Board of Education approved the student school meal price of $2.10 for breakfast and $3.40 for lunch price for the 2024-2025 school year.

• 2024-2025 Food Service Company Change - The Board of Education approved a new food service company for the upcoming school year. Chartwells was selected after a careful review of  the food menu options, taste tests, nutritional offerings,  as well as various other service criteria.

• Board of Education Meeting Location Change - Beginning in June 2024, the Board of Education meetings will be held at the Village Hall in the Board Room.

• Junior High Construction Project - The Junior High School summer construction has begun which includes an increase in the number of classrooms, window replacements, and new heating/air conditioning units throughout the building. The main office will be relocated to the west end of the building throughout the summer.
