  • Lisle High School School Improvement Plan Presentation - The Lisle High School Administrative Team presented their annual School Improvement Plan information to the Board of Education. The team shared information about SAT assessment results, Advanced Placement test results, information about the transition from SAT to ACT for the state accountability test, ways in which student growth is supported, Student Services information, and details about student participation. The High School administration was proud to share continued growth on the SAT, and a 30% increase in performance on the AP US History, AP US Government and the AP Statistics exams. The team also shared plans on how they plan to continue to see academic growth for all students in the coming school year.
  • Remote Learning Plan Update - Illinois school districts are required to file a “Remote Learning Plan” every three years with the Regional Office of Education. Dr. Filipiak presented information about the Lisle 202 Remote Learning Plan and a survey was sent the day after the Board Meeting to all current parents to determine if our schools will utilize a Remote Learning Day or use a traditional snow day in the event of inclement weather.  A proposed daily schedule is included for parents to see what the day would be comprised of in the remote learning environment. The survey will be open to parents through Wednesday, November 6th.
  • Financial Projection Update and Facility Needs Presentation - The Board discussed the updated six year financial projection from April 2024 and reviewed the projects completed in the past year as well as the timeline and estimated costs for future repairs and maintenance at each school.  In short, anticipated revenue for the next six years are projected to be adequate to cover the cost of operations and the necessary facility repairs.
