Janice McCoy-Yeager - 1975

In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we catch up with Class of 1975 graduate, Janice McCoy-Yeager.

What are you doing now?

I am a retired teacher for the Deaf. I now provide daycare for my grandchildren.

How did Lisle 202 prepare you for this role?

Lisle High allowed me to work half days my senior year at a school for the hearing impaired.

What is your advice for current Lisle Lions?

Take advantage of all the learning opportunities school has to offer!

Who inspired you during your tenure in Lisle 202?

My dad and mom were both educators. Mrs. Zarn opened up the world of English and cared about me, Mr. Sabin and Mrs. Strayer encouraged me and gave me confidence.

What is your favorite memory from being a Lisle Lion?

Band and choir and having such wonderful friends through school.
