In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we catch up with Class of 2003 graduate, Tamara (Burris) Rotelli.

What are you doing now?

I am a 6th grade math special education teacher for Jane Addams Middle School in Bolingbrook, IL.

How did Lisle 202 prepare you for this role?

The staff and students taught me how to set goals and persevere no matter what obstacles are in my way. 

What is your advice for current Lisle Lions?

Set high expectations and goals for yourself and don’t stop until you reach them! 

Who inspired you during your tenure in Lisle 202?

I appreciated all the staff in Lisle 202. Coach Don Green was the one who was not only brave enough to teach me to drive, but also took a chance on me in Track and Field and without that full ride scholarship to DePaul University I would not be where I am today. 

What is your favorite memory from being a Lisle Lion?

Winning basketball and track & field conferences!
