Lion Cub Preschool

Lion Cub Preschool is available to Lisle families with children who reside in District 202 and qualify through our screening process.

 

THE SCREENING PROCESS IS ONGOING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

Any time you have concerns about your child's development, you may contact Monica Wagoner at (630) 493-8008 at the District Office and request that an Ages and Stages questionnaire be mailed to your home.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCREENING PROCESS

If you would like additional information on our screening process and/or would like to request a questionnaire please call Monica Wagoner at (630) 493-8008. Once you have completed and returned the questionnaire as directed, our staff of educational professionals will review the information and notify you of the results and any other assessments that may need to be conducted.

New Student Registration Process

Step 1

STEP 1 – Packet & Appointment Set-Up


  • Complete the Registration Packet. 
  • Call the school office to set up a new student registration appointment.

  • You will be set up with an online account at your registration appointment.

  1.  Fee Payment may be paid online through MySchoolBucks (preferred) or at your registration appointment.

  3. NOTE: School Fee payments and Meal Account payments are accessed in separate tabs in your MySchoolBucks account.
  4. You will receive an email when an invoice is issued to pay your school fees.

Step 2: Complete Registration/Submit Proofs of Residency & Walk-In Registration

  1. Grades PK-8 - Submit paperwork and residency documentation online (preferred) or to the School office (Grades 9-12 - all paperwork must be submitted at a walk-in registration event.)
  2. Required residency documentation and any required paperwork must be submitted to complete the registration process.  **The District Central Office does not accept registration documents.

  • Attend Walk-In Registration - 
    • Grades PK-8 - If documents are submitted online, you do not need to attend walk-in registration.
    • Grades 9-12 - Walk-in registration is required for all grades.
  • Please bring PHOTOCOPIES of the required residency documentation and any required paperwork to walk-in registration.

Dates and times are not grade specific. Parents may attend any registration date.

Required Residency Information

Category I - Residency

(One document required – choose for homeowner or renter*:

*If you are not occupying a residence within the boundaries of the Lisle School District when you enroll your child, Board of Education Policy requires payment of one semester of tuition until occupancy occurs. The unused portion of the tuition will be refunded upon presentation of proof of occupancy. Please call the District Office at 630-493-8000 for further information.

FOR HOMEOWNERS (Select One)

☐   Original Mortgage Statement that includes the address and homeowners name – I.E. Deed, Closing Settlement Statement, or most recent Mortgage Statement

☐   Real Estate Tax Bill – most recent which identifies the address and homeowner’s name – Form 1098, tax statement from DuPage County Property Lookup website:  http://www.dupageco.org/PropertyInfo/PropertyLookUp.aspx

☐   Property Sales Agreement that includes the address and homeowner’s name.

FOR RENTERS

☐  Signed and Dated Lease – Dates must be within the current school year.  (High School Only - Student’s name must be on lease.)

☐   Signed and Notarized Affidavit of Residency (Third Party Resident – the person whom the parent/guardian and student lives with).
