Fifth Grade Learns Advocacy

On Thursday, January 17, 2019, all fifth grade students participated in their annual learning fair. Students worked for six weeks on researching a topic answering the question, "How can you make the world a better place?" After researching, they developed their claims, reasons, and evidence for their topics, which ranged from combating prejudice to the value of recess and homework. Students then shared their learning with the community through a music program (HUGE thanks to Mrs. Arlene Leonard for our Change the World music theme) and a visual and oral presentation of their project!
