HSO COUNCIL PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Greetings and welcome to the new school year! We are looking forward to an exciting year of activities across all our units!

Lisle’s Home and School Organization (HSO) is made up of four units. The HSO Council facilitates collaboration with individual school units at the elementary, junior high and high school levels. School unit presidents and council delegates are part of the HSO Council and report the business of the council meetings back to each unit. The District Superintendent and a member of the School Board attend each HSO Council meeting and inform the council of any relevant information that pertains to the school district. Everyone is invited to attend HSO Council meetings and it’s a great way to stay informed.  

The HSO Council’s primary fundraising focus is to raise money for the Scholarship Award Program. The individual HSO units also contribute to these scholarships. The total amount awarded to Lisle graduating seniors since 1964 is over $500,000! The HSO gave scholarships to 14 graduating seniors from the class of 2025!

UPCOMING HSO COUNCIL MEETINGS:

Thank you for all your upcoming time and effort this school year! Dates and times for Elementary, Jr High and High School HSO meetings are on the District Calendar.

HSO Council meetings are held at the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7pm in conference room attached to the Jr High commons at 5207 Center Ave. on the dates below.

• January 14th
• February 11th
• March 11th
• May 13th - Elections will be held at this meeting
